Victor V Antique Phonograph – Oak Cabinet & Smooth Wood Horn
The Victor V, introduced in 1905 as a premium external‑horn model, became one of Victor’s top performers. It debuted alongside the company’s shift from lettered to Roman‑numeral model names. Its large, round horn delivered a far more open and efficient acoustic path than the later internal‑horn Victrolas, making the Victor V a standout in both power and clarity.
Condition: This machine remains in original condition throughout. The wood cabinet is in excellent shape, showing only minimal wear for its age. The horn is also in excellent condition. The nickel plating presents well, displaying the expected patina that comes with time. The motor has been serviced, and the reproducer has been rebuilt. Overall, the machine operates beautifully and is ready to begin the next chapter of its story.
