Victor III Antique Phonograph – Oak Cabinet & Black Panelled Horn
The Victor III, introduced in 1903 during Victor’s shift to Roman‑numeral model names, became one of the company’s most popular external‑horn machines. Early advertising used the “Victor III” name before the designation appeared on the machines themselves—a detail noted by specialists. Today, its value is shaped mainly by condition, originality, cabinet style, and provenance, with early or well‑preserved export examples sometimes earning a premium.
Condition: The cabinet shows minimal wear, the horn is in very good condition, and the nickel plating carries an attractive aged patina. The motor has been serviced and the reproducer rebuilt. The machine runs smoothly and is ready for many more years of enjoyment.
The purchase of this phonograph includes three complimentary period‑appropriate records along with a fifty‑pack of fresh record needles.
Overall Dimensions: 29" height, 26" deep, 24" wide.
