Columbia AH Graphophone Antique Phonograph – Oak Cabinet & Black/Brass Horn
A striking example of early 20th-century phonograph craftsmanship, this Columbia AH Graphophone features a handsome oak cabinet accented by its black and brass flared horn, creating an impressive display piece for any antique phonograph collection. The cabinet retains a warm oak finish and is enhanced by attractive original decals, adding to its vintage appeal and authenticity.
This desirable model proudly displays the Paris World Fair Label, a sought-after feature that commemorates Columbia's participation in the famed international exposition and adds historical significance to the machine. Combining visual appeal with period charm, the AH Graphophone represents the innovation and elegance that made Columbia a leading name in the early talking machine era.
Condition: We are delighted to offer this interesting Columbia front mount machine. The primary components of this piece are original. The wood cabinet is in very nice condition, showing very well with only minimal wear for its age. Please see the pictures closely, as one corner has a chip on wood finial. The horn has been repainted, polished and presents well. The nickel plating shows age with expected patina that comes with time. The motor has been professionally serviced, and the reproducer has been fully rebuilt. Overall, the machine operates beautifully and is ready to begin the next chapter of its story.
Please note that the turntable is a replacement and is not original to the machine. Additionally, there is some loss of nickel plating around the edge of the turntable, consistent with age and long-term use. These condition issues have been reflected in the pricing and do not detract from the overall visual appeal or operation of this lovely Graphophone.
Overall Dimensions are: 30" height, 22" deep, 17" wide.
The purchase of this phonograph includes three complimentary period‑appropriate records along with a fifty‑pack of fresh record needles.
